8 Days Kenya wildlife tour

Meet and greet services on arrival in the morning at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick up from your hotel at 0730hrs by our tour driver-guide. We depart for Masai Mara via Great Rift Valley viewpoint and pass by Narok town to arrive Masai Mara Campsite in time for lunch followed by late afternoon game drive.

We spend this full day exploring Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives where we will have the opportunity of spotting Big Cats, Big Five including lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo and great migration.

We will have an option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire whole day in the park. Over 450 species of birds have been identified in the park among them 57 species of birds of prey.

These birds are prolific and come in every size and color including common but beautiful ones like the lilac breasted roller and plenty of other large species like eagles. Dinner and Overnight stay at Masai Mara safari lodge or Tented camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

We leave Masai Mara after breakfast and drive through the park with the last picturesque of the MARA and arrive Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch at the lodge followed by afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru is a shallow, alkaline lake where both lesser and greater flamingos can be found in vast numbers, sometimes literally turning the water pink! The birds throng on Lake Nakuru one of the Rift Valley soda lakes that comprises almost a third of the park area.

More than 450 species of birds have been recorded here as well as a rich diversity of other wildlife. The park also offers sanctuary to huge numbers of native African animals including waterbuck, warthog, impala, buffalo, Rothschild giraffe, eland, endangered black rhino, white rhino, tree climbing lion and occasionally leopard. Day 5 of our safari starts with breakfast at the Lodge or Tented Camp. We proceed for an early bird and game viewing drive as we exit Lake Nakuru National Park. After game viewing we drive to Lake Naivasha for an early afternoon boat safari at Lake Naivasha to view hippos, multitudes of birdlife and small game. Proceed to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Crescent Island is the place where the Documentary “Out of Africa” was filmed. Here’s a story you can take back home as you stroll past grazing zebra, impala, giraffe and more extensive bird species. The rest of afternoon is at leisure with option visit to explore Hell’s Gate National Park where we hire bicycles and ride or trek as you watch small game. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We depart early in the morning after breakfast and travel south to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa highest peak with lunch en-route arriving Amboseli in time for evening game drive.

This day is set aside exploring Amboseli National Park with early morning game drives where the light is perfect at Mount Kilimanjaro background which offers good photographic scenery coupled with the concentration of wildlife on the ground.

Amboseli National Park is at the foot of Africa highest mountain, 5895m Mt Kilimanjaro, this National Park offers some of the best opportunities to see African animals because its vegetation is sparse due to the long dry months. The Park is home to wild animals, which includes the African elephant, buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest among other African animals. There are also host of Kenya birds, both large and small, to see if you keep your eyes open and stop at every sighting. Dinner and Overnight stay at Amboseli safari lodge or Tented camp. Early morning breakfast; after breakfast we leave our lodge with the last picturesque of Amboseli National Park. We drive back to Nairobi arriving Nairobi in the afternoon. We transfer you to either your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to connect your home bound flight where the safari ends. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch.
