Leaving the bustling city of Nairobi, we travel south to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa highest peak.

We arrive at our lodge or camp in time for lunch, relax at leisure and later on embark on evening game drive in the beautiful Amboseli National Park.

We have dinner and overnight at either Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, Oltukai Lodge or Amboseli Sopa Lodge, Sentrim Amboseli, Kibo Safari Camp or Amboseli AA Camp. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner

This day is set aside exploring Amboseli National Park with early morning game drives where the light is perfect at Mount Kilimanjaro background which offers good photographic scenery coupled with the concentration of wildlife on the ground.

We return to the lodge or camp for breakfast. We will be free the rest of the morning may be enjoying a dip in the pool or game viewing from the lodge terrace. We have lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon have an option to visit the Masai village (Optional extra).

We later explore an evening major game drives. We return to the same lodge or camp in Amboseli, for a night under starry skies.

Amboseli National Park is at the foot of Africa highest mountain, 5895m Mt Kilimanjaro, this National Park offers some of the best opportunities to see African animals because its vegetation is sparse due to the long dry months.

Amboseli National Park is home to wild animals, which includes the African elephant, buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest among other African animals.

There are also host of Kenya birds, both large and small, to see if you keep your eyes open and stop at every sighting. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

After breakfast we depart Amboseli National Park viewing game en-route as we exit the park with the last picturesque of Amboseli. We drive into Tanzania via the Namanga border. We pass through Arusha town and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for late afternoon game drive.

Lake Manyara National Park takes pride in diversified habitat. It is mirrored by its varied fauna with some of the more common and visible large mammal species being the buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion and wildebeest.

Prominently renowned for its tree-climbing lion, Lake Manyara is also home to troops of baboon and blue monkey. The park is rich with fantastic bird life. More than 400 species of birds can be seen here.

Early morning breakfast at around 0700am. After breakfast we leave the lodge and proceed to Ngorongoro Crater Rim.

Located between the Serengeti and Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to the famous volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and one of Tanzania’s most popular wildlife viewing areas. This huge volcanic crater has a permanent supply of water which draws all kinds of animals who stay in this area rather than migrating.

Visitors come here primarily for viewing large game and bird watching, but also of interest in the conservation area is the Olduvai Gorge. This important archeological site has revealed ancient skull and bone fragments that have delivered critical information about early mankind.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: You can visit Olduvai Gorge at an extra fee payable direct to the museum.

Early morning breakfast then we descend to the Crater Floor with picnic lunch for game drive.

Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact ancient caldera in the world, nearly three million years old. The Ngorongoro volcano was one of the world’s tallest mountains before it exploded and collapsed.

Thousands of wild game can be seen on the crater floor, including lions, elephants, rhinos, Thomson’s gazelles, and buffaloes, but wildebeests and zebras account for over half of the animals that call the Ngorongoro Crater home.

Bird watching is superb, especially around Lake Magadi, which attracts flocks of flamingoes to the shallows.

Hippos are content to submerge themselves during the day and then graze in the nearby grass in the evening.

After exploring the crater we have lunch at the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp a Hippo pool. Thereafter we continue with game viewing while ascending the Crater and drive to Serengeti National Park lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

We spend this full day in Serengeti National Park exploring morning and afternoon game drives.
Serengeti National Park is Tanzania oldest and most popular National Park also a world heritage and one of the best wildlife sanctuary site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder.

Serengeti is famous for its annual migration this offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa. The Park is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due to the abundance of prey species.
Serengeti National Park also supports many further species including leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocodiles and many more game. Lot of birds includes the Eurasia migrants are recorded here.

Early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park later on we return back to the lodge or tented camp for breakfast.

We check out of the lodge and drive game viewing en route to Lake Victoria – Africa’s largest fresh water lake arriving at the lodge late afternoon where we relax at the shores of this lake.

Optional activities are offered such as Canoe-trip on Lake Victoria to a fishing village, Mountain-bike trip through Masamba Hills: Lake cruise, Nature Walk and Bird walk the choice is yours.

Our day 10 starts with morning breakfast at the lodge with a visit to a nearby Fishing Village in the company of a local guide to learn among other things about traditional fishing techniques, selling mode of fresh fish and the general rural life.

Thereafter we drive we drive to Masai Mara National Reserve via Isebania bordering Kenya and Tanzania. After clearing with immigration formalities we proceed to our next destination in Kenya , Masai Mara which plays host to the world greatest natural spectacle, the greatest dramatic wildebeest migration on earth which happens from July through October every year.

We arrive at the camp or lodge and have lunch at leisure before embarking on a thrilling evening game drive in one of the finest wildlife havens on earth. We then return back to the camp where it is time for dinner.

We spend these 2 days exploring Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives where we will have the opportunity of spotting the BIG FIVE including lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo.

We will have an option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire whole day in the park.

We will also have the option visit to local Masai village at an extra cost or balloon ride at only $450 per person.

Masai Mara is one of the best known and most popular reserves in Africa where wildebeest migration could be seen with roughly thousand of animals, at other times there are still hundreds.

The plains are full of wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson gazelle. Also regularly seen are leopard, lion, hyena, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared fox. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance.

Every July, August and September, the wildebeest travel from Tanzania Serengeti plains, northwards to the Masai Mara and the Mara River is the final obstacle.

The wildebeest remain in the Mara between October and November. Between December and January the wildebeest gradually begin their migration back towards Serengeti plains in Tanzania.

Early morning game drive on sunrise when predators are active with morning hunt of big cats.

We will have an opportunity to capture a Lion making a Kill as most of the time Lions Kills very early in the morning before sunrise.

We also experience the beauty of sunrise which reveals the back drop of Masai Mara which means the dotted hills in Maa Language.

We later return to the lodge or tented camp for main breakfast. After breakfast we depart Masai Mara with the last picturesque of the MARA arriving Nairobi late afternoon.
